Recognizing that a clean environment is the first line of defense against disease, the team also facilitated a 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲. This effort aims to strengthen the local ecosystem against future natural calamities while eliminating stagnant and grassy areas to prevent different environmental hazards as well as the breeding of harmful viruses.

June 8, 2026 — Earlier today, personnel from Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory, under the proactive supervision of City Jail Warden, 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐏 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, spearheaded a collaborative environmental cleanup and climate-resilience initiative with the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 (𝐁𝐏𝐒𝐎) 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐 volunteers in an environmental initiative at Kalayaan D, Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

Together, the team conducted a 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞, clearing the community's street corners and restoring the natural flow of its small living spring as they successfully cleared the debris and floating/sunken solid waste particles within the spring.
