On September 23, 2026, JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, City Jail Warden of the Quezon City Jail – Male Dormitory, participated in the 17th Quezon City Executive Committee Meeting held at Quezon City Hall. Some of the representatives from the QCJ – Female Dormitory, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), and heads of various city departments are also present in the event.

Presided over by MAYOR MA. JOSEFINA “JOY” G. BELMONTE, who provided final approval on key agenda, the meeting emphasized collaborative governance, proactive planning, and inter-agency synergy. Key initiatives and strategic reports discussed during the session included:

• International & Regional Summits: Updates on the Asia-Pacific Circular City Forum, the 1st ACCD Gathering, and insights from the Beat the Heat Study Tour / Global Cooling Pledge in Singapore.

• Inclusive Economic Development: Strategies for Enhancing Disability-Inclusive Employment and Business (DIEB) across Asia and the Pacific.

• Community Service & Public Safety: Comprehensive service delivery reports from District Action Offices and updates on the 87th Quezon City Foundation Calendar.

These efforts reflect Quezon City’s continued commitment to elevating public service delivery, strengthening community welfare, and ensuring public safety across all sectors.
