The BJMP Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory actively implements livelihood programs as part of its Welfare and Development Program for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), aiming to provide skills, generate income, and prepare them for reintegration.

Purpose:

  • used to carry items such as personal belongings; used to carry wet products such as fish, meats and frozen goods

  • to providing income-generating activities for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL)

  • to equip PDL with vocational skills that they can use to seek employment or start their own business after release

Bayong bags

Materials used: Canadian cloth, Fiber cotton, geena cloth

Purpose:

  • used for traveling

  • to keep your neck at a level and an angle that reduces strain on your neck and back muscles and allows you to alleviate pain caused by poor posture

  • to providing income-generating activities for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL)

  • to equip PDL with vocational skills that they can use to seek employment or start their own business after release
