Under the leadership of the City Jail Warden, JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION RPh, Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory participated in the Gender Sensitization for Effective Jail Management and Rehabilitation conducted in partnership with Australia Aid and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The activity brought together Jail Wardens and key BJMP personnel in a meaningful exchange of experiences, insights, and best practices on gender-responsive jail management. Through open discussions and collaborative workshops, participants explored ways to strengthen rehabilitation programs and create more inclusive and responsive correctional environments.

More than a learning opportunity, the activity reinforced the importance of understanding, respect, and shared responsibility in delivering humane and effective jail services.
