Under the guidance of Quezon City Jail Warden, ๐‘ฑ๐‘บ๐‘ผ๐‘ท๐‘ป ๐‘ด๐‘จ๐‘น๐‘ฐ๐‘จ ๐‘ณ๐‘ถ๐‘ผ๐‘น๐‘ซ๐‘ฌ๐‘บ ๐‘ท ๐‘ท๐‘จ๐‘ช๐‘ฐ๐‘ถ๐‘ต, representatives from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime conducted a jail visit at the jail facility to assess the facility's programs and initiatives for persons deprived of liberty (PDL) on June 16, 2026.

The UNODC, a specialized office of the United Nations, works to strengthen criminal justice systems, promote human rights, and support rehabilitation programs worldwide.

During the visit, discussions centered on measures to help facilitate the timely release of qualified PDL and address jail overcrowding through decongestion efforts. The delegation also toured the facility to observe various livelihood and skills-development activities aimed at preparing PDL for productive reintegration into society.
