On May 6, 2026, Quezon City Jail Male-Dormitory, under the leadership of Quezon City Jail Warden, ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐,๐๐๐ก, together with ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, Chief, Welfare and Development Section, warmly welcomed the Team Mav's Phenomenal Basketball to the facility. Mavrick Bautista, popularly known as Coach Mavs, returned to QCJ-MD to conduct a fellowship with the persons deprived of liberty (PDL).
Coach Mavs is widely recognized for sharing the Word of God through his social media platforms, and he generously extended this mission inside the jail facility. Through his messages of faith and hope, he inspired the PDL and encouraged them to remain hopeful despite their circumstances.
Following the fellowship, an exhibition game was held where the PDL had the opportunity to play alongside Coach Mavs and his team. After the game, the players of Team Phenomenal Basketball generously gave their worn jerseys to the PDL as a remembrance of the meaningful fellowship and exhibition game. The activity brought joy, motivation, and inspiration to the PDL, highlighting the positive impact of sports and spiritual encouragement within the facility.
