On July 1, 2026, The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) celebrated its 35th Anniversary at the QC M.I.C.E. Center in Diliman, Quezon City, under the theme, "𝐁𝐉𝐌𝐏 @𝟑𝟓: 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗞𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱."

During the ceremony, 𝐉𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐘 𝐍𝐎𝐄𝐋 𝐏 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐕𝐎, 𝐓𝐋𝐏𝐄, Regional Director of BJMP-NCR, received a Plaque of Merit in recognition of BJMP-NCR's achievement as the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫, highlighting the region's outstanding performance and commitment to excellence in public service.

Also honored was JO2 Mark Jayson D Palisoc, who was awarded the 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒂𝒍𝒚𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏 and 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒂𝒍𝒚𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒖𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 for his courageous act on October 29, 2025. While en route to duty, he sustained injuries after assisting police authorities in subduing an armed suspect who was indiscriminately firing in Barangay Muzon, South Bulacan.
