The Seventh-day Adventist Church delivered Optical Check-up and Free Reading Glasses to persons deprived of liberty of Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory at jail infirmary on May 20, 2026.

Fifty (50) elderly PDL benefited from quick and efficient eye examinations utilizing the latest in medical technology, conducted by Mary Elvie Dela Cruz, the Churchโ€™s volunteer optometrist, who facilitated the assessments. Eyeglasses tailored to their respective prescriptions were promptly distributed after, allowing beneficiaries to immediately experience improved vision.

The program opened with a Devotional Session and was capped of with a feeding program for the pdl. The representatives Seventh-day Adventist Church was lead by Tess Lazo. JCINSP HENRY N FABRO, MD, Chief HSU, and JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE, Chief Welfare and Development Section were present to oversee the activity.
