To mark the beginning of Womenโ€™s Month, The Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory, under the leadership of City Jail Warden, ๐‘ฑ๐‘บ๐‘ผ๐‘ท๐‘ป ๐‘ด๐‘จ๐‘น๐‘ฐ๐‘จ ๐‘ณ๐‘ถ๐‘ผ๐‘น๐‘ซ๐‘ฌ๐‘บ ๐‘ท ๐‘ท๐‘จ๐‘ช๐‘ฐ๐‘ถ๐‘ต, ๐‘น๐‘ท๐’‰, participated in the Flag Raising Ceremony held at Quezon City Hall. The event was led by Honorable Mayor Josefina โ€œJoyโ€ G. Belmonte, alongside the heads of various city departments.

In addition, the QCJ-MD personnel joined the dance competition, representing Nieves Fernandez, a Filipino school teacher who became a guerrilla leader during World War II. She organized and led fighters in Leyte against Japanese forces and was widely recognized for her courage and combat skills.

The event also highlighted the recognition of outstanding women from various departments who demonstrated heroism and brought honor to the country
