On May 22, 2026, under the leadership of Quezon City Jail Warden, ๐‰๐’๐”๐๐“ ๐Œ๐€๐‘๐ˆ๐€ ๐‹๐Ž๐”๐‘๐ƒ๐„๐’ ๐ ๐๐€๐‚๐ˆ๐Ž๐,๐‘๐๐ก, personnel of Quezon City Jail-Male Dormitory, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), successfully conducted a joint greyhound operation inside the facility as part of the jailโ€™s continuing campaign against illegal drugs and contraband.

The operation aimed to maintain the safety and security of the facility through the inspection of dormitories and belongings of persons deprived of liberty (PDL). Greyhound operations are vital in preventing the entry of illegal drugs, weapons, and other contraband inside the jail.

As a result of the intensified inspection and strict monitoring procedures, the facility was declared โ€œ๐’๐’†๐’“๐’ ๐‘ช๐’๐’๐’•๐’“๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’๐’…,โ€ highlighting the effectiveness of the jailโ€™s security measures and the dedication of its personnel in upholding discipline, vigilance, and institutional integrity.
