BJMP-NCR Special Tactics and Response (S.T.A.R.) Unit Members conducted a Firearms Proficiency Seminar with the theme "𝘼𝙞𝙢 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙖𝙣" for the Female Personnel of Quezon City Jail-Male Dormitory on March 4 in celebration of Women's Month 2026 .

The program seeks to reinforce knowledge in the proper handling and maintenance of sidearms, shotguns, rifles, and Pepperball Guns of the Women of QCJ-MD through a series of lectures and weapons maintenance exercises.

JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, RPh, City Jail Warden, together with JCINSP CHRISVIL O VILLAMOR, Chief HRMDU, presented Certificates of Appreciation to the Subject Matter Experts for their significant contribution in empowering the lady participants this Women's Month. Assistant Warden JCINSP JOHN MICHAEL A ALCOY was also in attendance to facilitate the activity.
