Under the leadership of the City Jail Warden, JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory, in partnership with the Quezon City Local Government's Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), facilitated the application for Persons with Disability (PWD) Identification Cards and assistive devices for eligible persons deprived of liberty (PDL) with disabilities.

Led by Ms Joy Sitjar and Ms Samantha Octubre, the activity successfully assisted 24 PDL with disabilities in applying for their PWD Identification Cards, while 7 PDL applied for assistive devices to support their daily needs and improve their quality of life.

Conducted in line with the observance of the 48th National Disability Rights Week, the initiative reflects QCJMD's commitment to ensuring that every PDL, regardless of ability, has access to programs and services that uphold their rights, welfare, and dignity.
