On February 23, 2026, personnel of the Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory, under the supervision of City Jail Warden, 𝙅𝙎𝙐𝙋𝙏 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙄𝘼 𝙇𝙊𝙐𝙍𝘿𝙀𝙎 𝙋 𝙋𝘼𝘾𝙄𝙊𝙉, 𝙍𝙋𝙝, actively participated in a Community Cleanup Drive at the Marikina Riverpark. The activity aimed to promote environmental responsibility, community involvement, and the shared duty of protecting natural spaces for future generations.

With our cleaning tools and a strong spirit of volunteerism, together, we collect waste, clear debris, and help restore the cleanliness and beauty of the Riverpark. Beyond maintaining the area’s ecological balance, the initiative also served to strengthen camaraderie, discipline, and teamwork among personnel while fostering a culture of public service beyond jail operations.

This meaningful effort reflects QCJMD’s continued commitment to community engagement and environmental support and cooperation, demonstrating that public safety and environmental care go hand in hand in building healthier, safer, and more resilient communities.
