Personnel of Quezon City Jail-Male Dormitory immersed themselves in nature through the conduct of a Tree Planting Activity and Clean Up Drive at the La Mesa Eco Park, Quezon City, on September 21, 2026.

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) staff held a brief discussion to orient the participating jail officers on the kinds of trees to that will benefit the already flourishing forest reserve. After making their pick of seedlings, they were lead through the foliage to the ideal spots to plant new trees.

The QCJ-MD personnel then teamed up with the DENR guides to clean and tidy the vicinity of the basecamp, clearing away dead leaves and litter to formally conclude the activity.
