Ten (10) persons deprived of liberty (PDL) strutted the catwalk during the National Correctional Conciousness Week (NACOCOW) for the chance to claim the coveted crown of 'Mr. Gwapong-Gwapo sa Sarili 2026' at the Quezon City Jail-Male Dormitory Multi-purpose Area on October 26, 2026.

Through sheer confidence, these unapologetic masculine specimens delivered nonstop joy and side-splitting amusement to their fellow PDL as they flexed in their sports attire, showcased their unique talents, and tackled a fast-paced Question and Answer segment.

JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, City Jail Warden, led the board of judges together with ALS eacher Marilyn S Vergara and Chief Custodial Unit SJO4 Jhon M Perez.

The top three winners received cash vouchers redeemable for essential supplies inside the facility, while the coveted crown went to the ultimate champion, personally crowned by JSUPT PACION.
