In celebration of creativity and resilience, the Persons Deprived of Liberty of QCJMD showcased their artistic brilliance through a Visual Arts Contest anchored on the theme โ€œAni ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting.โ€

More than a competition, the activity became a platform for self-expression, where arts spoke of truth, and every stroke reflected courage behind the walls.

Led by Chief WD JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE, the initiative highlighted the diverse talents of the PDL, reinforcing the jailโ€™s commitment to rehabilitation through meaningful and transformative programs.

Serving as judges were JCINSP CHRISVIL O VILLAMOR, JINSP ROGELIO G PEREZ, SJO4 APOSTOL, and SJO4 GUANO, whose presence further strengthened the integrity and significance of the event.

Indeed, through art, stories are told, hope is renewed, and courage continues to bloom.
