PDLs and personnel of QCJMD marked Palm Sunday with a Holy Mass led by Rev. Fr. John Castillo, celebrating renewal, peace, and new beginnings. The day was made even more meaningful with a feeding program - nourishing both spirit and body.

Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and Personnel of Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory observed Palm Sunday through a Holy Mass led by Rev Fr John Castillo and the Restorative Justice Ministry (RJM) on March 29, 2026.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week in the Christian calendar and commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. The leaves are symbolically used to represent peace, victory, and renewal.

RJM, together with the Welfare and Development Section, also conducated a feeding program for the PDL attendees after the mass. JINSP EUGENE M MATILDO, Chief Intelligence and Investigation Unit and Officer of the Day, was present to oversee the activity.
