On April 01, 2026, the City Jail Warden, JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, and SJO4 SHIRLEY P LAGGUI, Chief Development, participated in the 170th Manpower Barangay-Based Skills Training Program Graduation Ceremony in recognition of the 22 PDL who successfully completed the 3-month housekeeping training conducted within the facility.

The activity was graced by HON MAYOR JOY BELMONTE along with SSDD staff and LGU department heads.

Certificates will be formally awarded during the orientation of the next batch of trainees, serving as an inspiration for other PDL to pursue growth and transformation. These achievements stand as a testament to their resilience, commitment, and readiness to reintegrate into society with dignity.

From learning to livelihood, building second chances, one skill at a time.
