REV FR JSINSP MARK ANTHONY FERRER of the BJMP Chaplaincy Service lead the Veneration of the Cross at Quezon City Jail Male - Dormitory for devout Catholic Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and Jail Officers on April 3rd during the observance of Holy Week 2026.

The Veneration of the Cross is a Christian tradition, especially observed on Good Friday, where the faithful honor the cross as a symbol of Christ’s sacrifice and salvation. Through gestures like bowing, kneeling, or kissing the cross, believers express gratitude and devotion, directed not to the object itself, but to Christ and His love for us.
