The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources - NCR teamed up with Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory to deliver a sustainable form of livelihood to Persons Deprived of Liberty through Urban Aquaculture Training on April 8, 2028.

With emphasis on Culture and Grow-out of Tilapia and Catfish, this orientation by BFAR offers new knowledge on methods to raise fish in urban settings for generating income that PDL can use upon being released.

JCINSP JOHN MICHAEL A ALCOY, Assistant City Jail Warden, presented certificates of appreciation to the BFAR - NCR representatives lead by OIC, FPS Mary Ann R Candelaria for sharing their expertise and bringing postive change to the lives of the PDL participants.
