In addition to medical and laboratory services for Persons Deprived of Liberty, DrugCheck Philippines Inc. also delivered an informative series of lectures for personnel of Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory on August 20, 2026.

During the first part of the seminar, jail personnel were oriented on PhilHealthโ€™s YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program), an expanded primary care benefit package that ensures Filipinos have free and convenient access to essential healthcare services. It covers medical consultations, a wide range of laboratory tests, and 75 types of essential medicines, all available through accredited healthcare facilities nationwide.

The second half of the seminar focused on substance use awareness and prevention, discussing the effects of drug use, the underlying causes of addiction, and the factors that contribute to substance dependency. By gaining a deeper understanding of these aspects, jail personnel are better equipped to respond with informed, compassionate, and appropriate interventions when dealing with PDL.

JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, RPh, City Jail Warden, presented certificates of appreciation to DrugCheck Inc. and their Global Drug Demand Reduction Trainer, Santaner T Iray, for their invaluable contribution to ensuring No Juan is Left Behind, including jail officers.
