On June 2, 2026, representatives from the Embassy of the United States in the Philippines visited the Quezon City Jail – Male Dormitory to provide consular assistance to U.S. citizens currently held in the facility.

Vice Consul Christopher Agba met with the concerned persons deprived of liberty as part of the Embassy’s regular consular engagement with its nationals. The visit concluded with the signing of the facility’s visitors’ logbook in the presence of City Jail Warden JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION and Chief Welfare and Development Section JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE
