Under the leadership of City Jail Warden JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory supported the participation of seven former Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) in the Small Income Generating Assistance (SIGA) capital assistance payout of the Social Service Development Department (SSDD) of Quezon City.

Each beneficiary received โ‚ฑ5,000 in capital assistance to help support their livelihood initiatives and strengthen their efforts toward a fresh start. The City Jail Warden personally accompanied and assisted the former PDL during the activity, reaffirming QCJMDโ€™s commitment to supporting their transition and reintegration into the community.

The activity also featured a message from Ms Ma Lorelie Salvador, Head of SSDD, who congratulated the SIGA beneficiaries and encouraged them in their pursuit of sustainable livelihood opportunities.

As part of the No Juan Left Behind program, this initiative reflects the importance of continued support beyond release, helping former PDL build opportunities for a more productive and independent life.
