On April 24, 2026, six (6) former Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) from Quezon City Jail – Male Dormitory received Small Income-Generating Assistance(SIGA) from the Local Government of Quezon City through the Social Services Development Department – Vocational Division during an awarding ceremony held at Quezon City Hall.

The assistance will serve as start-up capital for small businesses, helping former PDL rebuild their lives, achieve self-sufficiency, and successfully reintegrate into the community through sustainable livelihood opportunities.
