JULY 1, 2026 - In a wonderful collaboration with the Jesus Set Free Ministry, led by Sister Merriam Bagasan, and Create the Change - Australasia, guided by Pastor Russel Wright, this morning, Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory, under the leadership of City Jail Warden, JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, hosted a meaningful extension of Father’s Day Celebration for persons deprived of liberty (PDL).

PDL participants received inspiring and uplifting Bible stories and lessons from our visiting sisters from Australia, and each received copies of the Bible, in the Bible Sharing and Outreach Program, held at the Annex 4,Activity Area. PDL attendees were also treated with snacks and refreshments, while Brother Bobby Duclayan (Jesus Set Free Ministry) kept spirits high with his energetic, contemporary musical performances in a lively entertainment for everyone.

Spearheaded by Welfare and Development Chief, JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE, the event concluded with an Informative Jail Tour, showcasing QCJMD’s rehabilitation programs—from livelihood and skills training areas to the facility's library, infirmary, visitation area and tele-hearing hubs.
