The Batasan Social Hygiene Clinic, led by Dr. Claudette Nery, MD, conducted a comprehensive health and education campaign earlier today at Quezon City Jail – Male Dormitory.

A total of 102 Persons Deprived of Liberty participated in the activity, which included screenings for HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B (HEPA B). Dr. Nery stressed the importance of early detection and education in curbing the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), especially in enclosed environments such as jail facilities.
