The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has commenced a three-day visit to Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory from July 9 to 11, 2025, to assess the general condition of the facility and provide recommendations and areas for possible improvement and support to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

As part of their humanitarian assistance, the ICRC donated more than 3,000 1-liter bottled water, 12 tablets and headsets units to enhance the facility’s E-Dalaw and Tele-Hearing programs, allowing PDLs improved access to communication and legal proceedings.

The QCJMD, expressed gratitude for the continued partnership and support of the ICRC.
