On January 16, 2026, Siamyout Philippines together with representatives from BJMPRO-NCR S.T.A.R. Team conducted a Training for personnel on Unarmed Techniques focusing primarily on Muay Thai Boran at Quezon City Jailโ€“Male Dormitory.

During the training, practical self-defense techniques applicable in both jail operations and real-life situations were taught, while also cultivating discipline, mental composure, and physical well-being essential in combat sports. The highlight of the activity was the sparring sessions between jail personnel and their trainers, which served as a demonstration of skills they learned during the training.

The martial arts session was lead by Ms. Ajarn Brenda Ley L. Tarnate, founder of Siamyout Philippines and former coach of the Philippine Muay Thai National Team.

JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, RPh, City Jail Warden, together with JCINSP CHRISVIL O. VILLAMOR, Chief, HRMDU, presented certificates and tokens of appreciation to Siamyout Philippines and the S.T.A.R. Team members in recognition of their valuable contribution to the development and capability-building of jail personnel.
