On February 5, 2026, the QCJMD Chapel became a sanctuary of reflection and renewed commitment as the New Year’s Call was successfully conducted.

The activity was led by the City Jail Warden, JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION RPh, together with the Assistant City Jail Warden, JCINSP JOHN MICHAEL A ALCOY, and joined by the following key officials:

• JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE – Chief, WD

• JINSP ROGELIO D PEREZ – Chief, Custodial Unit

• JINSP EUGENE M MATILDO – Chief, Escort Unit

• JINSP JOSE ABNER E MENDOZA – Chief, Gate Security

The program symbolized a fresh beginning for the jail, as personnel were personally greeted by the Warden and officials, strengthening unity, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to excellence in service.

As a new chapter unfolds, QCJMD stands ready, stronger in faith, aligned in mission, and united in service.
