In a significant move to enhance healthcare services for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), the Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory (QCJMD) officially launched the 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙆𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙖 (𝙆𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝙏𝙖𝙢𝙖) 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive outpatient benefits, including consultations, health screenings, laboratory tests, and essential medicines, to both PDL and personnel.

The PhilHealth Konsulta Program aims to give all Filipinos, including marginalized groups and bringing this program into jails like QCJMD helps make sure that Person deprived of liberty also get the medical care they need.
