Quezon City Jail-Male Dormitory opened its gates for over 100 PCCR Criminology Students to conduct an Educational Jail Tour, providing aspiring uniformed personnel a first-hand look on jail operations this January 26, 2026.

Led by JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, RPh, City Jail Warden, Quezon City Jail-Male Dormitory opened its gates for over 100 PCCR Criminology Students to conduct an Educational Jail Tour, providing aspiring uniformed personnel a first-hand look on jail operations this January 26, 2026.

The tour commenced with a walkthrough discussion of QCJ-MD, with JSUPT ORLANDO M ALICANTE, Assistant Warden, JCINSP CHRISVIL O VILLAMOR, Chief HRMDU, and JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE, Chief Welfare and Development Section serving as guides. The PCCR students were introduced to the Livelihood and Visitation Areas, classrooms, and given a brief supervised look at the Custodial Section.

Continuing at the QCJ-MD Chapel, the students were shown a Jail Briefer Video which gave more detailed look at the different jail units and their function within the jail.

Persons Deprived of Liberty delivered an upbeat dance number that introduced Livelihood Products to the visitors as they enjoy freshly made bread from the Jail Bakery at this juncture.

As part of their visit, the PCCR students also brought food items for the PDL.
