On June 16, 2026, IDEALS (Initiatives for Dialogue and Empowerment through Alternative Legal Services, Inc.) conducted a free legal education session for persons deprived of liberty (PDL) at the Quezon City Jail – Male Dormitory.

Under the guidance of the City Jail Warden 𝗝𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗔 𝗟𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗦 𝗣 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗡 and with the assistance of QCJMD paralegal officers, the activity enhanced their understanding of their legal rights and promoted legal awareness as part of their rehabilitation and development.

The initiative highlights the importance of legal awareness in fostering informed, responsible, and empowered individuals.
