Jhelai D Pasco, Project Officer, QC LGU Gender and Development (GAD) Council, conducted a seminar on the Concepts of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC) at the Quezon City Jailโ€“Male Dormitory for Persons Deprived of Liberty who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community on January 16, 2026.

The seminar served as a venue for participants to gain a clearer understanding of SOGIESC, fostering awareness, respect, and inclusivity within the facility. Through the discussion, PDL were provided with information that supports self-awareness and mutual respect, contributing to a more informed and supportive environment inside the jail.
