𝑸𝑪𝑱-𝑴𝑫 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒔 𝑺𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓 𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝑨𝒄𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑮𝑨𝑫-𝑹𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑳𝒂𝒘𝒔

The Quezon City Jail Male-Dormitory, under the leadership of Quezon City Jail Warden, 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐏 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍,𝐑𝐏𝐡, conducted a seminar on the Safe Spaces Act and other Gender and Development (GAD)-related laws to strengthen gender sensitivity and human rights awareness among its personnel.

The activity was attended by QCJ-MD personnel, led by JCINSP CHRISVILL O VILLAMOR, Chief of the Administrative Unit, JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE, Chief of the Welfare and Development Unit, and JINSP EUGENE M MATILDO.

The discussion was facilitated by 𝑨𝒕𝒕𝒚. 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝑹𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝑨 𝑷𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂, founder and executive director of 𝐄𝐧𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, who highlighted key provisions of the law and emphasized the role of jail officers in ensuring safe and respectful spaces within the facility.

The seminar forms part of QCJ-MD ongoing efforts to promote professionalism, accountability, and gender-responsive practices in jail management.
