On January 28, 2026, more than 80 Persons Deprived of Liberty of Quezon City Jail-Male Dormitory successfully completed the TESDA Tile Setting Training-NC II during the conduct of a Graduation Ceremony with the theme "Building Skills, Restoring Hope, Shaping New Beginnings."

During his inspirational message, BJMPRO-NCR Regional Director JCSUPT BABY NOEL P MONTALVO, TLPE, extended his heartfelt gratitude to TESDA and TechVoc Skills Inc. for their unwavering support in sharing their expertise for the benefit the PDL. He also thanked the families of the PDL, some of whom were in attendance, for their steadfast support and encouragement, reminding the graduates to be grateful to their loved ones who never gave up on them.

On behalf of TESDA District Director Mr PAUL JOHN RAMOS, Christalin Rose G. Gabagat, TESDA Specialist I, shared words of encouragement with the graduates, emphasizing that each tile they placed during the training symbolizes a challenge overcome. Completing the program under circumstances such as theirs demonstrates resilience and equips them with valuable skills for life upon release.

JCSUPT MONTALVO, together with City Jail Warden, JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, RPh, JSUPT GUERRERO VICTORIO M DIONCO, Chief, Regional Welfare and Development Division, TechVoc Skills Inc. President Mr ERNESTO B BENGZON, and Bb. Gabagat presented the Certificates of Training to the Completers.

Also in attendance were TechVoc Skills Inc. School Head Ms Melody S Cruz and Trainer Ms. Meriel E Balatucan.
